Hon - all your answers are already great, but only your doctor can chose the med based on your personal blood work!.!.!. meanwhile, did you know that our muscles produce something endocrinologists call "Thyroid - B"!? When you exercise for 30 minutes, your muscles release a chemical that operates like thyroid!.

Increase your exercise schedule - like going for a walk once in a while!. It will give you additive benefits!.

If your bloodwork says you have an underactive thyroid, you'll be prescribed some form of thyroid hormone!. Synthroid, a synthetic version, is probably the most common!.

I have the same problem you do, have been taking Synthroid for a year or so, my TSH and T3 and T4 are back to normal, and I'm just as tired!. Apparently I wasn't tired because of thyroid problems, I just happened to have them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sorry to say this, but your in a long road ahead!. I've had an underactive thyroid for 11 years!. I've been taking Synthroid and Cytomel!. You're going to feel great at first, you'll have energy, lose weight!. Then your body will get used to it!. The weight will come back on, you'll become tired again!. So your doctor will have to increase the dosage!. I've had to deal with it!. After 11 years, I'm taking 2 meds to keep it under control!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your blood work shows underactive thyroid, you will be given some thyroid medication!. Your blood would have to be monitored regularly so the MD can adjust the levels of meds you would need!.

Do you possibly have sleep apnea!? This is a very common condition which can sap the very life out of a person!. You might ask your doctor to arrange a sleep study for you!. Best wishes, my friend!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have this condition as well!. He will probably start you on a medication like Synthroid!.!.!.you will have to get blood tests to make sure you have enough!.!.!.This could take a month or so to see some improvement!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
