The amount of sugars diabetics can have depends on them!. With type 2 diabetics, their doctor tells them to eat the amount of exchanges that is right for them!. With type 1 diabetics, I'm not quite sure there is a set amount!. The way that sugar alcohol works is that only half of it hits you, so when you are looking at the nutrition facts to count carbs, subtract half of the sugar alcohol and that is the carb count!. Now sugar and sugar alcohol are not the healthiest things in general!. Hope I was of help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
hi you diabetices can have alcohols drinks but it is limited you can look up this issue on the Irish diabetes federation web site which is irishdibetesfederation!.ie and will let you know what you can and what you can drink and how musc of each on this topic keep miles away from drinks that say there non alcoholic drinks as there full of sugarWww@Answer-Health@Com
sugar is not good for diabetics!. try to stay away from carbohydrates and keep to lean meat,fish, oily fish, salads veg's ( except cooked carrots )!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
