Singulair for allergy/asthma in children...?!

my child suffers from allergies and asthma have used it for two years!. i give it at night, and only during peak seasons (spring and fall) it seems to work better and the body doesnt get as tolerant to it!. has worked fine, but not a cure-all!. she has to have another allergy med combined with this one!. spring time really wipes her out!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I had to be prescribe prednisone for awhile for my allergies and asthma!. I was also on singulair for over a year and it didn't work at all!. I got off of it and was prescribed xyzal for my allergies, which works WONDERS!, and symbicort for my asthma!. I use to take Advair and I found that it doesn't work well!. Symbicort is a great asthma product and you feels is effects very fast!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's linked to suicide, but for me it did nothing to help my asthma!. I don't have allergies so I can't tell you anything about that part!. I had to take it every night before I went to bed, but it really didn't help me!. I'm not sure how it is for other people though, I think this whole thing of how it's linked to suicide is just something they did to bring attention to the drug!. I took it in order to help me not use my inhaler as often (albuterol) but it made no difference!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, I'm on Singulair for it's allergy effects, but when it's combined with my other medications, I don't feel any side effects or anything!. I can't take it solo though!. It doesn't work as well!. I haven't experienced anything unusual since being prescribed Singulair, so i think it's a good thing!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i use singular, and i actually love it!. it's really good for my allergies, completely takes them away!. i have asthma as well but i really only notice it when i exercise, and it's not very severe so i can't tell you a lot about that, i also am supposed to use a puffer but it increases my anxiety so i stopped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My doctor had me on singulair and advair at the same time!. The singulair was more to treat my allergies and the advair was for my asthma!. They both worked really well together!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my son has been on singulair in combination with zyrtec and pulmicort!.!.!.!.hasn't had an asthma attack in 3 years!.!.no noticeable side affects, except sleepinessWww@Answer-Health@Com
