That's case study : If someone stabbed with a knife the blade was 9cm long the knife peneterated the 4th intercastal space along the left sternal border ,,Q1: what organ(s) would u epect to be punctured by the knife!? Q2 Where would the blood likely accumulate!?
Autopsy report : Death was caused by an excessive loose of blood and cardiac temponade resulting from the stab wound in the thorax !.

Answers:
The term cardiac tamponade means an accumulation of fluid in the pericardium which is the sac in which the heart sits!.
The pressure of the fluid (in this case blood) filling the space puts a pressure on the heart preventing it from functioning to the point where it will be unable to function at all!.
The organs likely to have been punctured would be the heart and or possibly the lung!.
