Answers:
Get a heart rate!. Count beats for 15 seconds and multiply by four!. Also, get a blood pressure if possible!. Plus, try to determine if the tachycardia begins and ends abruptly, or if the heart gradually speeds up then down!.

There is a way to evaluate this!. It's with a 24 hour cardiac recording device caled a Holter monitor http://www!.heartsite!.com/html/holter!.htm!.!.!. that you wear for a day as it records all of your cardiac activity for the day!. This is then analyzed first by computer and then by your doctor!. There is also a thirty day version of this http://www!.wellmark!.com/e_business/provi!.!.!. !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tachycardia is a rapid heart beat that occurs without stimili (ie working out, running etc) so you dont want to listen to your heart in less you have a stethiscope thats a pain in the *** feel the pulse on your wristWww@Answer-Health@Com
