Question: STD Question (my friends and I disagree)!?
Let's say Girl 1 has HPV, are her chances of contracting HIV higher!? If so, why!? Does having any STD make your chances of contracting HIV higher!? If so, why!?
I say it does, but only because I have read it on websites, but have no clear reason as to why I believe it's true!. Therefore, my friend(s) disagree with me!.

I think they say your chances are higher because some stds may lower your immune system or that they consider the people to have stds to be careless and that they will have unprotected sex because they already have a std so whats it matter now not thinking they could get something else!. The way I look at it is, if Girl 1 has HPV- Girl 1 most likely got HPV by having unprotected sex, or the condom broke, etc!. So, unprotected sex results in a higher risk of HIV!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
