Allergic to socks???!
Question: Allergic to socks!?!?!?
6 months ago I bought a new package of socks and when I wore them my skin would get red and itchy where the top of the sock (elastic part) touched my leg/ankle!. It looks and feels like a sunburn!. I found that when I wear only 100% cotton socks I don't get that irritation!. I'd worn those types of socks my whole life so why did it start now!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Allergies can develop any time in life!. You could have been allergic to the type of material the sock was made with, you could have had a reaction just to the elastic, the chemicals in the packaging, if you washed the socks before wearing them did you use a different detergent!? Unfortunately you have to use process of elimination!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
