I got that really bad a couple of years ago tried E45 and calamine lotion but didnt work!. Found out creams dont actually work because they keep the heat in and make it worse! So take some piriton allergy tablets and when you bath/shower exfoliate - it unblocks the sweat pores which have caused the prickly heat!. I had it for 2 weeks and took some tablets and it disappeared within hours! Just goes to show! Apparantly it also raises your blood pressure so you dont want to have it for too long in case it causes problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Make a strong infusion of linden (limeblossom) tea, like say 10 teabags to a quart of water!. Let it stand for 10-15 min!. Either sponge this on the rash, or if possible add it to a shallow bath and soak in it for awhile!. Not a whole bathtub, you want the solution to lose as little strength as possible!. You can also wring clean cotton cloths out in the solution and drape it over the affected part, but soaking is best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

in tropical Countries you can get prickly heat powder!.
its basically talcum powder with menthol and calamine mixed in it!. you can make your own with talc and menthol crystals then mix with calamine lotion to get a paste that will work till you get there an buy the powder!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I get prickly heat I use an antihistamine like piriton!. Piriton has a side effect of making some people drowsy but it works okay for me!. If you try one and it does have side effects try another and so on!. There's plently on the market!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just learned something!. I never heard of prickly heat!. I think you should do what I am going to do and that is to look it up on a medical web site!. I hope you don't get it on your vacation!. Have fun!Www@Answer-Health@Com

calomine lotion, although I think I've spelled it wrong!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
