Question: Open Red Scalp wound!?
My grandma has had an itch scalp since august, and in September, wounds started showing up on her head!. One little one that was a little open, that healed, then another that never full healed, and now one that just completely open and red!. and she says that they are very itchy!. WHAT IS THIS!? Is her head going to rot off!?!?!?!? She went to the doctor, and he said it's ringworm!. I thinks hes a quack, and I want her to go to a dermatologist!. What do you all think it is!? I don't know what to say, because I am worried it might be serious, and I don't want to give you advice that could make things worse!. All i have to say is, see a dermatologist, and his normal doctor!.
