If you're using good sunscreen with a SPF of at least 15, with UVA and UVB protection and are reapplying it often enough, it should prvent tanning as much as it does sunburn!.
Tanning is another symptom of sun exposure and skin damage, just like sun burn is!. The difference is the activation of melanin, the pigmnent in skin in people who have darker skin tones, instead of fair skinned people burning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You would have to use a sunblock with a very high SPF and spend a limited amount of time in the sun!. I've seen sunblock with SPF's as high as 85!. What SPF means is Sun Protection Factor!. If a sunscreen has an SPF of 15, it means that it has 15X your skin's natural defense against sun damage!. You can still get a sunburn even with a very high SPF sunscreen, if you spend a lot of time in the sun!. It can't completely block the effects of the sun, it just minimizes some of the damage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
