Question: How do you spell the name of this blood cell disease!?
Ok, the name sounds like "sphere- oh- s- i- to- sis!." I have the disease, so it's not made up!. Basically, what I've been told, is that my blood cells (I can't recall if it's white or red) are an odd shape, so when they go through my spleen to be filtered out, they can't get out, causing my spleen to swell!. I had to have my spleen removed when I was eight years old because of this!. I also had problems with getting sick easily- especially viruses and fevers- and was in the hospital and had shots a lot; my skin had a yellow tint to it, and I had problems with mild anemia!. It's also a genetic disease; my father had it, and his mother, and so on!. Now, does anyone know how to spell it, because I'd like to research this disease a little bit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's called "hereditary spherocytosis"!.
An inherited disease also belongs to autosomal recessive disorders!. When you say autosomal, it means one or both of your parents are carrier of these traits!. A possibility that you will pass it to your future children since you are already a carrier of it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
