Question: I have this skin problem for 3 months-help please!!?
I've been having some major redness above my lips (I'm not sure if it's from my shaver) and white flakes on the red spots which gets so annoying!. I tried using vaseline to smooth it out but it never gets rid of the redness!. Now I think it's bacteria!. My doc recommended bacitracin ointment and I'm wondering if anyone has used it!. Or if you had this problem!.!.!.!.what product did you use to heal it!? Let me describe my situation: red above my lips and the right side of my lip and my forehead!. NOT ITCHY nor does it hurt so I dn't think I should use hydrocortisone!. It's been there for three months so it's not going away!. Maybe it's bacteria!.!.!.I'm not even sure!. Bacitracin is a wound healer!. I would definitely try it!. Cortisone only helps if there is itching as well!. Doesn't sound like that's the case!. Sounds like you're irritated above your lip so you may want to find a good after shave, possibly from Clinique, that would soothe your skin!. Your forehead sounds like something else!. sounds like a touch of rosacea!.go see the doctor,he will give you short term antibiotics or rosex gel or finacea!.all help but take a few weeks to work!.does anyone in your family have reddish skin or bulky nose(usually older member of family)rosacea can start anytime but is more common from 30 yrs onwards and can get worst!.Sun,getting too hot,getting too cold,wine,hot drinks!.all these things can give you a rosacea type reaction,dont worry!.years ago there was no treatment for it years ago and some people developed rhinoplasty or red veins on face,but these days there are treatments which help!.hope this helps cheersWww@Answer-Health@Com
