Question: Bright white lump on my tonsil inside my mouth(looks like a tooth), what is it!?
On my tonsil inside my mouth I've got this pea sized white lump on my tonsil!. I've only just seen what it is 'cos it's been irritating me!. Well these last couple of days it's been hard to swallow food and drink but I though I had a sore throat!. And today I've just had a look and it'sfreaking me out! What is it!?
Is it serious/bad!?

Please help if you can!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i sometimes get them - i think they are called tonsil stones, and from what i remember researching on them, they are a build up off food and some other stuff, in crevices in your tonsils!.

I tried all i could to remove it - try gargling with salt water/mouthwash, or sometimes you can reach it with your tongue!.

Try not to swallow - they taste foul!.!.!.and if you smell it once its out!.!.!.trust me, you will regret it!!

wierd as it seems, i got it out with the smaller bent round bit on a giant paper clip - i straightened out the rest of it, and hooked the tonsil stone out!. Try anything like that to get it out!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think Becca's right!. I get those, too!. They're yucky, and they hurt -- and they smell foul when you get them out -- but they're a very normal thing!. If you can get it out, you'll feel much better!.
I've done the paper clip thing, too, but what I've found works best is to gently push on the tonsil with my finger!. It usually pops right out!.
Gargle with some antiseptic mouthwash or salt water after you get it out to help prevent further infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be an ulser that has got infected!. However it is possible that you have also had tonsilitus and that it has become infected to!. But i wouldnt waste time i would see your GP ammediatleyWww@Answer-Health@Com

Could be strep throat - do you have bad breath and fever too!? Could be viral, like Herpes!. Could be the beginning of throat cancer!. You'll never know unless you go to the doctor - so go!Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds horrible!. Go to your GP, dont waste time on here your best of going to an expert!. But then again it might just be a spot!Www@Answer-Health@Com

strep infection possibly, go ASAP to physician, probably a good ENT Physician!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
