Gardenning is a form of exercise and acn cause low blood sugar/hypolglycemia

Exercise makes insulin more effective and may lower your blood sugar!. You must watch for the symptoms of low blood sugar when you're exercising:

Excessive sweating
Rapid heart rate
Dizziness
Headache
Trembling
Hunger
Blurred vision
Irritability

You should be prepared for these symptoms by keeping at least 15 grams of carbohydrates with you for quick relief of low blood sugar!.

It's important to test your blood sugar before and after exercising!. Record the results and review them with your doctor to see how your body is responding to different types of exercise!. Your healthcare professional will help you adjust your insulin/medication should your blood sugar drop below 70!.

Any form of exercise can cause it to drop!. Remember the medication is bringing your levels down to normal and the exercise is taking it further down!. Try eating a piece of fruit just before such exercise, or in general, exercise after a meal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
