I need some good advice "Ticks"?!
Question: I need some good advice "Ticks"!?
My dogs are getting ticks on them ,We moved into a country area and I don't know much about them !.I woke the other morning with one crawling on my face!.And we have been finding them on my dogs ,So any one know of a good product or advice to cure this problem ,I don't like the idea my son had one in his head attached !?!?!?Help Please!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not good!. Ticks can carry Lyme Disease, so you need to get this situation under control quickly!. Check out this link!. It'll give you tips on managing the problem, particularly about where to check your pets for ticks when they come in from outside each day!. In the meantime, make sure you check each other for ticks daily--everywhere!. I mean EVERYWHERE!. I've even had them attach themselves to my pubic region!. Once you've got Lyme Disease, there's no getting rid of it!. So until you've got the problem under wraps, it's better to be safe than sorry!. Give each other the once over and teach your kids to check themselves head to toe!.

Ask the vet to sell you Advantage(these are the drops you put on the shoulder of the dogs) I think the one that kills ticks is called Advantix!.Pet stores don't sell it here(I'm in Canada)!.
Check the pet stores, maybe they are allowed to sell it where you are!?Also:buy a premise spray for your house(this will kill the fleas and ticks that were brought in by the dogs)\Spray your house and all the corners!.Some sprays are good for 3 months, some are good for 1 month!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can get a flea and tick collar, or they sell a cream that you put on your dog's shoulders to ward ticks off!. just look up flea and tick collars and creams!.

Are you sure it was a tick!? because if it was on your face it would've burrowed and it is hard to get out one they do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
