Question: What are some fast ways to relieve congestion (besides medicine!)!?
I have a cold with a stuffed nose, and for the past week I have been using Zicam, but once it wares off, it makes my stuffed nose even worse!. Do you know of any quick, hassle-free ways that I can rid of my congestion in time for me to go to sleep!? Please do not suggest medicines or seeing a doctor, etc!.!.!.something simple!. And blowing my nose doesn't work!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I basically give my self a facial!. I turn the sink water on really hot, lean over it and put a towel over the back of my head (creating a steam tent like thing for my face) it relieves all my sinus pressure, and i'm able to blow my nose and it actually works!.!.!.plus i try and sleep on my side or stomach, so the congestion doesn't get in my chest, causing me to cough!. You may not have a cold, this may be allergies!.!.people who claim they don't have allergies are seeing severe symptoms this year!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Have you tried a neti pot!? I know this sounds crazy, but it really does work!. My husband has horrible allergies and I almost had to force him to try this, but once he did he was hooked!.
He farms, so he's out in the pollen all day long, and when he comes home and showers, this is what he does!.
I've attached a link to you tube that shows how to use a neti pot!. Dr!. Oz on Oprah talked about it one day and that's how I learned about it!.
