Question: Do you think a person that has herpes should tell you!?
I have a friend I've known for years and she has HSV2!. She's sexually active, but doesn't tell her partners that she's infected!. She had a relationship with 1 guy for over a year and I thought he was aware!. She said nope! Her reasoning was that there were probably things he wasn't telling her either!. With other lovers she says why should she, it's not a serious relationship!. To be honest, I'm pretty pissed and let her know it! and i don't feel the same way about her!.
If you're sick you should give someone the right to decide whether or not they still want to sleep with you!. That person runs the risk of possibly catching something from you and this disease has no cure!. It should be their decision and not a situation you put them in, because you don't want to be truthful!.
I have nothing against anyone with herpes!. No one asks to have this and my heart goes out to those that do!.

I despise people like your friend!.!.!.!. no offense!. It's not right that she does not tell her partners about somethign so serious as herpes! Even if they use a condom when having sex, herpes can still be spread!. It's not like you take a pill and get rid of herpes!! It's there for the rest of your life!~

I certainly think that a person who is knowledgeable about having a sexually transmitted disease should be honest!. It would be one thing if the person was not aware!. However, it is also not uncommon for people to conceal such facts either because they feel the other person would breakup with them or in some cases people feel that if they have it so should others!. I know that it is screwed up but that happens!. The question is can you somehow let the other person know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I think thats downright selfish!. If someone has something like that and is sexually active with more than one partner then she should be telling them!. Herpes isnt always a serious disease and sometimes doesnt have symptoms for some people, but for others it can be a serious problem!. I think you really need to talk to your friend and tell her to wake up to herself!. She obviously doesnt realise what she's doing to some people!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

for the reason of a sexual relationship!.!.!. absolutely she should tell! she is being very selfish and stupid for not telling!. it's ppl like her that cause this and many other std's/sti's to be such a prevalant problem in our communities!. in terms of just generally being friends and socializing!.!. I don't see it necessary to be telling anyone!. I have to admit I'm a little ignorant on this as I don't know if it can be spread via toilet seats!.!. but I somehow don't think it can unless she were to rub herself on the seat then the next person had an open wound or something and did the same immediately after her!. anyone with actual knowledge on that who would like to correct me!.!.!.be my guest =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
