Question: My mother has PSORIASIS Problem,does my son who is 1!.5 yrs old posses any danger!?she lives with us!.!?

Its not contagious, however it is hereditary!.!.!.meaning your son could get it when he gets older!.
I have it!.!.!.but no one has ever thought I was contagious!. It doesn't seep or have fluid involved!.!.just scaly skin!. Our skin reproduces 5x faster than yours!.!.therefore causing too much skin, thus being shed as each layer comes in!.

You can't catch psoriasis from another person or give it to someone by touching them, and you can't spread it to other parts of your body!.

Doctors now believe that psoriasis starts with the immune system-

I think he'll be fine but if he does end up with the condition it is passed on in our genes - but not contagious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
