Answers:
Yes, dehydration is serious!. Get off the computer, drink water and/or sport drinks, such as Gatorade!. That will put essential electrolytes back into your system!.
As to the PS: These answers sound so concerned!. Your first query asked if dehydration was serious!. Answers were good advice!.
As to the 2nd question in your post, if you are not rehydrated by now, I don't know of any remedy other than a good night's beauty sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dehydration is a serious problem!. First your body needs water to survive!. Soda and Kool-Aid does not count as water!. You can put lemon or get flavored water!. That's what i do because i don't like the taste of water!. You might be dehydrated because dehydration does not make your body excessively hot or numb!. One symptom is nausea or dizziness!. I think you should probably go see a doctor because what you are describing as symptoms are not symptoms of dehydration!. So you might want to go see a doctor before your illness gets out of hand!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it can be serious, but only under extreme situations!. it could be coincidental and you happen to have a virus or migrane, after feeling thirsty the day before but its only a coincidence!. you may have a kidney infection, or even be a diabetic!. in any case, if the hedache does not cease after a few days, or this happens again, see your doctor!. hope this helps :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes, it is a serious problem, your brain floats in fluid in your skull!. if you don't drink water, your brain will let you know, which would explain why it feels like it is going to explode, it needs a drink!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dehydration is very serious if not immediately treated!. it becomes at times fatalWww@Answer-Health@Com

In my opinion it is grossly "over diagnosed" lately!. You state that you only drank 1/2 liter of water yesterday!.!.!.!.!. were you thirsty-if so you should have drank more, did you have to urinate at all through the day, if so you were adequately hydrated!? were you doing anything yesterday that you feel caused you to sweat excessively!?one bit of friendly advice that you may disregard, ignore, forget; generally hyperbole/color full metaphors should be avoided when describing painful complaints to an E!.R!. doc or walk-in doc!. For instance, what does it feel like when someones head is about to burst!? since human head rupture is a fairly rare event, and few survive to describe it to others, it doesn't help the doc to understand the pain any more than saying ouch!.you had a headache!.
also you state that your body is excessively numb, is that as opposed to tolerably numb, or greater than your baseline numbness!?
you go on to ask why can't the human body survive for more than a few hours without water!. who says it can't!? you appear to have survived, but if it were true that we couldn't it may have to do with the fact that most of our body mass is water!. why is our requirement for water B!.S!.!? Going to Burger king, paying for a Whopper/fry/drink, paying and then not being given the food, that is B!.S!. but needing water, food, oxygen, etc isn't B!.S!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
