Answers:
!.Food poisoning is caused by entrance of toxins (chemical or biological ) in our body after an intake of contaminated food!. The most common biological toxins are bacteria ( e!.g!. Escherichia coli, Entameoba hystolytica ,Giardia lamblia & or other protozoans ) parasites, viruses ,etc!.
!. Amebiasis is an infection caused by amoeba thru ingestion of contaminated food or water ( esp!. in feces ) and may be transmitted through the oral - fecal route!. Amebiasis may be a consequence of food poisoning !.
!. Check your water source!. It may be contaminated!.Have your stool examined for the presence of parasites or eggs!. Check the filters, many protozoans pass through tiny pores!. It is best to drink bottled or distilled water at a reputable provider!.
!. Severe infection ( persistent vomiting or excretion) requires hospitalization and prompt treatment ( usually metronidazole is the drug used to kill the parasites )to prevent dehydration and complications!.
!. Once you have diarrhea, refrain from eating veggies and fresh juices or fruits and be alert on the freshness and shelf life of all the foods you eat!. At best , eat a soft diet !.Be careful, there is a high tendency of recurrence as these microorganisms are terribly hard to eradicate !. In my case they have caused so many of my health troubles after that incidence of food poisoning I have experienced!.
!. Depending on the severity and the body's resistance, it may last for 2 -4 days and if it persists, you've got to hurry and see a Doctor, a Gastroenterologist or an Internist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
