Of course, you wouldn't want to have that because when the signs of rabies comes out, there's nothing more any anti-rabies injection can do for you!.

For post-exposure: injections are given on days 0, 3, 7, 14, and 28 (total of 5 injections)!. However, if the dog is healthy after a 10 day obsevation, you may opt not to continue the rest of the injections!.

Single or multiple bites or scratch which penetrates skin at any location or a bite from a known rabid dog, rabies immunoglobulin is also given together with the rabies vaccine (so 6 injections)!.

For pre-exposure: rabies vaccine is given for 3 doses on days 1, 7 and 28Www@Answer-Health@Com
