Question: Why would my thyroid medicine stop working!?
I just learned that although I take 150mcg synthyroid medicine it has stopped working!? I have hypothyroidism!.Also I have an extemely low amount of vitamin D!. Why would that be so low and what purpose does the vitamin do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why do you think it stopped working!? Have you had a test recently to see what your thyroid level is!? You really need to visit the dr!. He may just have to increase the dosage!. Vitamin D is from strong bones!. I had hyer thyroid for a long time, then it switched to hypo thryoid after my daughter was born!.

vitamin d deals with the bone formation and i have no idea about that problem!. you might need more milk idk!.
but my sister and mom are hypoglycemic (sp!?) and they both take synthroid!.
are you sure that u have hypothyroidism!? the doctors could be wrong u know!.
