Inpatient treatment is for kids who fail at outpatient or who need to be physically separated from their drug!. Same thing, though, group meetings where you learn about addiction and your own relationship to drugs!. Family piece to this also!.
De-tox is a medically supervised procedure where you're body cleans itself out of all drugs!. This can be done with other drugs to help it be less painless (like with heroin) or not!.
Almost all outpatient and inpatient treatment programs are based on the 12-step philosophy!. This doesn't work for everyone!. If you don't agree with this philosophy and treatment is being court ordered, you can request an alternative to 12-step treatment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
