Someone experienced with bulimia? please help =(?!

Question: Someone experienced with bulimia!? please help =(!?
I am 19 and have been struggling with bulimia for about 2 years, but only recently has it got really bad!. It started off with me eating too much one night so i thought, i better throw some up so i dont get fat!.!. But now its at the stage where i just eat constantly (junk foods cos i love them), but it never bothers me cos i know i can just go throw it up and eat some more of something else!. I throw up anywhere from the toilet to the shower, the bath, the back yard, in a plastic bag!.!. anywhere really!. My mum recently found out becasue i had prawns for tea and she found remainders of them in the bath plug hole!.!.!. long story short, she was already suspicious of my problem, but this was the final straw!. she told me we both need to go see a doctor cos this problem needs to be fixed, but i dont want to talk to her about it!. I dont get along with her, she just isnt the sort of mum i feel comfortable talking to!. But i know i need help!. Anyone else who's been through this talk to me please =(Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi there, I have been through a very similar situation for about the same period of time and just seem to have overcome it, mostly!.
Bulimia is a very hard thing to control, and most certainly does not happen overnight!. I would strongly recommend talking to someone you trust and seeking medical help and also phychological help!.
Definitely get a check up from a doctor because bulimia can cause your electrolites to be all over the place, particularly potassium, which is vital in the body and to your heart beat!.
You may find you are somewhat dizzy, sometime, a lot, whatever, this is caused by low blood pressure which is greatly affected from frequent vommiting!.
Take care of your teeth too!. Bulimia is one thing which makes your teeth ROT!. I have not been for a check up in a lond time, and already back then had started to lose tooth enamel!.

You will need to be strong to get over this!. And please don't say you don't want to!. I know it is a horrible way to live and being out the other side i know it is a lot better!. If you want to get over it, you will need someone to be with you after meals, yes it is torcher because it is breaking something which has a strong hold upon us, but it is necessary!.

I understand the situation with your mum, as i am kind of the same with mine, but of course in our own ways!. If she is supportive of you, i'm sure she will do whatever necessary to help you get better!. She will seem like the enemy for a very long time in the process of kicking bulimia, but do your best eh!? You don't want to end up in hospital with a tube up your nose and being force fed and followed everywhere you go, every hour of the day!.

Take it slow and steady!. Attempt to understand your stomach and how much it wants and tell yourself STOP when you know enough is enough and that if you eat any more you won't be comfortable!. Do not try and resort to anorexic behavior because you are not vommiting!.
Try start off with little amounts often!. Even as little has 1/2 - 1 piece of toast for breakfast etc!. You will need to teach yourself to be able to enjoy food and want to keep it!. Eat what you are confident in keeping, and work your way up slowly!.

I have plenty more i can add!. If you need any advice on anything, do contact me, i have been through this for a very long time in my life and want to help anyone i can to get out of this nasty way of life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well ive been through anorexia and at the time i couldnt talk to my mom!. i asked her to get me into therepy and it helped out alot recently i started to slip back into my old ways and im back to seeing a counselor!. you do need to talk to someone about it, it will only get worse if you dont!. also try to avoid seeing a doc untill you stop vomiting up your food, unless you are throwing up everything you eat, and i mean not getting any nutrition!. rehab can help you out and honestly you are an adult and it is your choice to go to the doc or rehab!. but i also wouldnt suggest it unless you arent keeping anything down, just because it costs alot of money and a therepist can help you out alot!. also this is how i beat mine therepy and will power, it may not work for you so i would talk to a friend first about it!. i know how hard it is but you can do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
