Cancer fundraiser.?!
Question: Cancer fundraiser!.!?
Ok this has been bugging me for about four years now!. I'm currently fourteen years old, and my sister died of a rare cancer Glioblastomia Multiforme (GBM) stage four!. Anyways, ever since she has, Iv'e been wanting to do a fundraiser for that type of cancer only!. The reason is because they have no cure for it, and there is only a 1% surviaval rate!. About 1 in 100,000 people get diagnosed with it!.
The type of fund raiser I wanted to do, to really gain money for this type of cancer is the kind you do on TV!. You know you go on TV and people do acts or talents and people call in and donate money!.
I'm not sure how to do that or get started!.
Please don't say this is silly because it's not!. It's something very serious to me!.

Do I know any organizes that work with this!?
How much time and thought do I want to put into it!?
How much time do I have!?
Who do I know that can help me!?
The anwer to thoughs question determ your fundraiser!. You want it on TV so do you know anyone in TV!? either way you need to write out a letter explaining why and what your doing!. Pass it along to all the big wigs in you local tv station but if you want ame higher!! Go to Opreah, America today ext!.
Also go to the newspapers, look for donations of time and money setting it up!. Try to meet as many people as possable so when you need help you will know where to go!.
THE MOST IMPORTEN THING!!!! TRY TO GET A NON-PROFIT STATES!!! You can do this by going though a oragnaion for cancer that already has it or by making a oragnation and getting it appoved but that would be next to impossable for a 15 year old with out adult help and support plus it would take a long time!.
To have a really good fundraiser like you want will take a year!. So Send your letters, Make your friends, Make a plan, Set a Date, Advertise EVERYWHERE for at least 3 months, and put a lot of time, and heart into it!. Once you have met people they will help with all the details of how and when!.
