I have a lump on my armpit and it really hurts?!

Question: I have a lump on my armpit and it really hurts!?
Ages ago i found a lump under my right armpit it it was really sore, i booked an appointment with my doctor but couldn't get one for twenty days and by the time that date came around the lump and pain was gone! Now i have a lump in my left armpit and it is really painful, both times i have had the lump it felt like i have a swollen bruise or something and it hurts to move my arm a lot!. My friend said she had something similar and it was swollen glands, i have had subatious (sp!?) cysts removed on my head so i'm wondering if it could be that!? I don't want to book another appointment because it takes too long to get them and i really don't get on with the doctor at my surgery either so i prefer to avoid going there!. Any help would be appreciated because i get worried that it's cancer or something!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
More than most likely it's a swollen lymph node!. I've had them before, and yes, they are a total pain in the *** (pain wise), and like you I freaked out!.

After my doctor's appointment and talking to so many people, that was the conclusion!.

Since lymph moves much slower than blood circulation, it is easier for nodes to get blocked!. It is painful and they do get swollen!.

If it persists for more than two weeks, I'd go back to your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well you have lymp nodes in your armpits, they might be swollen, if it goes away and comes back, just tell your doctor, he should be able to help you out some way!Www@Answer-Health@Com
