My husband insists that men dont get stretch marks!.!.!. i would suggest that your question makes my husband wrong (again) and me right (as usual)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can smooth the appearance of stretch marks using cocoa butter lotion!. A bleaching cream might help too, but i don't think that anything will make them go away entirely!. I have always been really thin (a size 0 ) & i have always had a few stretch marks on my hips!. I think this has something to do with growing in general!. Not just growing fat!. When you grow your skin stretchs!. I also read in a prenatal book that stretch marks have alot to do with what you eat!. He should eat more things with vitamin E to prevent stretch marks from the inside out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is because he is growing fast, or is fluctuating in weight!.

Let him massage cocoa butter all over himself daily after a shower, this should prevent future scars and fade past ones!.

Unfortunately, there is no cure for removing stretch marks other than getting yourself an airbrush tanner :/ I mean, it works for my thighs!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

stretch marks will never go away but appearance can be heavily reduced!. Tell him to mousturise his body with cocoa butter!. Its proven to help against stretch marks and its cheap!. But if its durastic help he needs lasers and chemical peels are capable of doing an almost perfect job!. But do not mention it to him making him self concious for all the wrong reasons is not going to help anyone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stretch marks are caused when the connective fibers of the skin are over-stretched and break!. This would have been caused by him growing!.

Over time they will become less prominent!. It is pretty hard to get rid of them!. Here's an article that has some tips: http://www!.healthplusarticles!.com/articl!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This would definitely be because of his growth!. I got them when I went through puberty and grew rapidly - on the more female bits like hips, thighs & boobs!.

They do fade with time, but if it worries your son there are lots of different creams you can get that are supposed to help them!. Vitamin E is meant to be good!. Just ask at your pharmacy!.

More drastic remedies include laser treatment & chemical peels!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Men and women both get strech marks through puberty or weight gain etc!. It is normal!. Just woman are taught to worry about it more!. My boyfreind didnt even realise he had them till i said!. He was shocked! Goes to prove how women are scrutinised in every aspect of their apperances and thus become more judged for simple things like strech marks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes it is normal, some people get them, some don't, there are lots of ways you can help prevent them diet, (lots of collagen foods) creams that help the skin stay supple / stretchy,
my cousin got them all over even though he was not overweight at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It happens alot to teenagers!. You could try rubbing Bio Oil or cocoa butter on them to help them fade, but they won't disappear completely, ever!. Stretch marks may fade, but theyre permanent!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have answered your own question!.

I't s not just women who get stretch marks but anyone with skin!. Teenagers also suffer as they are prone to growth spurts , they may fade with time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
