Question: Surgery death rate!?
Hi, I was wondering what is the death rate of surgery related to the rib cages!?(Fixing Marfan Syndrome, Pectus Excavatum) Also, would my age in/decrease my chances of death!?(im 16)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would never go by stats!. Stats are produced using mathmatical formula's, they don't really have any meaning apart from an indicator!.
It depends on the person, their health, their problem, their age ect!.
Just remember there is more chance (in most cases) of crossing a road and being killed by a car!. You face death every day, surgery is just another obstical!. Just like crossing the road is, or walking on the pavement!. Afterall a lorry driver can have a heart attack and swirve straight into you !.!.!. and your on the pavement!.
