How often does Asthma kill people?!

Question: How often does Asthma kill people!?
like if you don't have your inhaler or whatever, and you go for a run in a bunch of smoke and pollutants, and you fall down and start coughing and hacking!.

what are your chances of dying!?
is it pretty high, or low!?

ohh, and one more thing, what do you do if your inhaler is not working, like you try allot and none seem to do any good, like they sort of work for about a week or so and then they dont work hardly at all!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Right now, in the U!.S!. close to 6000 people die of asthma/year!. The numbers have recently increased for unknown reasons (probably air pollution)!.

If a person has an attack and can't talk more than a few words, the body starts getting hypoxic (oxygen levels in the blood decrease rapidly)!. Depending on the overall health of that person they can decline very quickly (such as an older person/someone with other medical problems, especially cardiac related) or they may 'compensate' for a while (a younger, otherwise very healthy person)!. If the problem is not corrected, you know what happens with oxygen deficiency!.!.!.

If the inhaler doesn't work (in the above mentioned scenario, the bronchioles may be so constricted that the medication can't go there it needs to be to act) it's time to call 911!.

Asthma is a quickly reversable disease if treated aggressively!. The longer the wait, the more complex and harmfull effects start happening on the body which are more difficult to reverse!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
