Question: Sulfur on a cold sore!?
I have a cold sore on my chin and I put a sulfur treatment on it, but it only made it very very itchy!. It also made the surrounding skin very itchy as well!. Is this good or bad!? What should I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're sure it's a cold sore, go buy some Abreva and apply that -- it's the only FDA-approved treatment that's available over-the-counter!. If you're not sure it's a cold sore, Abreva won't work!. Sulfur is good for acne, but it's not recommended for cold sores, and it's drying to the skin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
