Question: I am taking Prednisone for plantar fascitis!. Do you know anything about it!?
I feel terribly guilty for taking a week off from my job!. I hospital nurse 12 to sometimes 14 hours a day!. My foot began to hurt so bad, I was crying in the bathroom at work while I sat down to rest my foot!. The podiatrist told me it certainly would help for me to get off my foot for some rest, so I called off until I have to go back and see him next Monday!. Now I feel guilty, because my foot feels much better after staying off of it for 3 days!. I am taking methylprednisone for it!. I feel like if I dont protect my feet and health, the people I work for are not going to help!. I work a lot and never call in and my feet ar basically my living since I walk all day long!.

Yes-taking time off is the right thing-

I have Bilateral Plantar Fasciitis-

I've been battling it for about 2 months now-

I can't afford a doctor or to take time off from work--I'm currently working about 55 hours/week-mostly on my feet (except when I fall over from the pain)

I am treating it with homeopathic anti-inflammatories and home made card board splints as well as strecthing-

I wish i could get prednisone-

I get bad side effects from NSAIDS so I can't take them-

I was lucky enough to get custom orthotics when I had good insurance which paid for them completely (for severe arthritis from a foot injury)-

prior to that I seriously considered asking to have my foot amputated!!.!.!.!.

as long as it is not a major hardship-I would go ahead and get the orthoticsWww@Answer-Health@Com
