Have you had this properly diagnosed!? It might be diverticulitis, but there is also Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis that can appear in young people!. They are life long conditions that are diagnosed by colonoscopy!. See your doctor to get a proper diagnosis because once you know what it is for sure, then you can find out how to manage it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well if you think it is related to stress then your stomach may just be upset because of it!. IBS isn't something that isn't seen in younger people!.!.!.especially 15 year olds!. If you believe it is IBS then its a condition that will most likely be life-long, but because it's life-long it doesn't mean you always have to suffer from it!. There are definitely ways to control and moderate it!. If it is something you really are concerned about the best thing you can do is see your doctor!. Don't be embarrassed about it either!. Your doctor is there to help and I'm sure that they have seen and heard a lot worse than IBS!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You'll just have to learn how your body reacts to certain things (like food and stress)!. There really isn't anything you could do about it besides know your 'triggers'!. It is called a syndrome because of the myriad of symptoms it could have!.

Abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, bloating!.!.!.you know what I'm talking about!.

Treating it simply means using medication as a way to relieve symptoms!. I don't think it goes away, it just comes and goes depending on what you are eating, or if you are stressing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
