Question: My sister-in-law is terminally ill and I need advice!?
My sister-in-law has cancer and has been given a few months to live!. I am going to visit her this weekend!. She is very religious but her husband (my brother) is not!. She is very concerned that her husband will not find the Lord after she is gone and may even blame God for her death!. When I visit this weekend I want to give something to both her (to give her hope) and also give him something (to strengthen his faith)!.
Can anyone provide me with some ideas!.!.!.maybe a book, a keepsake!.!.!.!.!.something that I could give to each one of them separately!.

When I got diagnosed with lung cancer last year, my friend gave me a pendant that she had been wearing that has "footsteps" poem on it!. I cherish it and have not taken it off except for surgery ect since she gave it to me!. I held it every time I have been in pain or have struggled for whatever reason!. I think you can get it through some magazine through one of those ads or in one of the Christian book stores!?
You can't make your brother in law accept Christ!. He has to be ready on his own, but you can plant seeds that might trigger and make him think when he has some time ,for instance!.!.!.I was just diagnosed with recurrent stage 3 lung cancer with a poor prognosis, believe it or not, the very next day I broke my leg getting out of bed, and one week after that I got Shingles!. When people would say to me oh how horrible, you must be mad, God is testing you!.!.!.I said NO it is not God testing me!. God doesn't do bad things to his people!. The devil is messing with me!.!.!.ok my exact words were that the devil is fuc-ing with me, and I am giving him the finger!. Because he is nothing and will never cause me to doubt the love of my Father no matter how much he fuc-s with me!. The neat thing is that it seems since all those bad things happened to me and I didn't give in to self pity or blaming God that everything and I do mean everything that I need is being given to me with out me even asking for it!. I am getting paid help for free every day, I am getting help in other ways!. i am being blessed constantly!.I am making sure that everyone knows how much I am being blessed because I want them to think about that when they are being messed with and to ask God for help!. Share true stories with your brother in law, work them into the conversation without pushing it on him and turning him off!. Let him be angry when he needs to but help him direct that anger at the right place and displace that anger by working through in a healthy way and not a distructive way!. You might want to give him the first book in the fictional "Left Behind" series by Time LaHaye and another writer!. I think the others have given you some suggestions but I would add giving her a deep devotional book, along with a journal!. I would also talk to her pastor and see what he would suggest!. but remember that miracles do happen!. I would take her to M!.D!. Anderson in Houston or to Vanderbiilt in Nashville!. I went to Vanderbilt when I was diagnosed with the apl form of aml!.I died 3 times and the Lord saw fit for me to live, so there is hope!. I never did blame God for what happened to me because I pretty much brought it on by my lifestyle by smoking, which they said was a big part of it!. I will be praying for her and for your family!. You might want to give your sister-in-law the book entitled 'The Five People I Want To Meet In Heaven' by Mitch Alborn and a journal for her to write her thoughts and feelings down on paper (something that can be given to your brother later on)!.

I feel for you!. I lost my dad right before Christmas from cancer!. It was very hard!. He did become more in touch with the Lord then he was in the past!.
As for a book, get The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren!. It is a good book and should open your brothers eyes up to the thought that something else is out there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Let me say this; There is a cancer instatute, I don't know its name but I think you can find it on the net!. Doctors typically give up on cancer patients when they think thay cant make any more money off of you!. First of all she needs to loose the sugar in her diet!. Cancer feeds off of sugar This cancer institute, I see them on tv, Take terminally patients and they walk out with cancer in remission!. I don't want to give you false hope but I sure would do some home work!. Don't listen to just one doctor!.
Take a good multi vitamin and some Good Fish Oil they are not all good!. Please help your sister-in- law and see what you can find!. Some good doctors say that cancer is nothing but a fungus!. it can be treated by fungicides!. Lots of veg tables and fresh fruits God Bless!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
