That could be practically anything! It could be a minor illness OR a serious one!. It could be an allergic reaction to something you have eaten or a medication you have taken recently!. It could be an allergic reaction to a new laundry detergent, soap, etc!. This really needs to be checked out by a doctor as soon as possible, especially if you are having other symptoms like a fever or anything else unusual!. Until you can get to a doctor, you could try some 1% Hydrocortisone cream to put on it!. This might sound weird, but Pepcid AC sometimes helps with allergic reactions depending on the circumstances!. You could also try one or two Benadryl tablets or capsules (25 to 50mg) and see if that helps!.!.!.it will make you really sleepy though so don't plan on driving anywhere!.

Rashes on the palms are rare!. They only occur in certain conditions like ricketsia, toxic shock, and a few others!. Really it sounds like it is worth a trip to the dermatologist or at least your family doc to have them take a look at it!. Really it would be hard to say anymore without 1)seeing it, or 2) getting a better description of the rash and its course!. Best of luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
