Question: Help! does anyone have insomnia or know how to deal with it!?
i think i have insomnia-sleep disorder
i can never fall asleep easily
it takes me forever
i just cant stop thinking at night
does anyone else have this!?
how do u deal with it!?

I deal with this same problem!. It comes and it goes!. If you have kids, get them to bed a decent amount of time before you do; that way you can wind down yourself!. Taking a hot bath to relax always helps!. Also, try playing some classical type music turned low when you go to bed, it can help defer those neverending thoughts if you are listening to something!. I take Ambien!. It works pretty well!. The best medication for insomnia as far as my experience goes would definately be Lunesta, although it has one side effect that was a little bothersome and that was a weird taste in my mouth the next morning!. There is also an all natural pill called Melotonin which is a natural sleep aid you can get over-the-counter!. It's about $4 for a bottle of 100!. I usually never try things like that, but I swear by that stuff!. Good luck!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could a symptom of schizophrenia if you sleep 3 and 1/2 hours per night!. Otherwise, you should cut down coffee, tea and colas to drink water!. Cut down on sugar, cookies, cakes and other sweets!.

Exercise daily and don't overeat for supper!. Eat supper at 6 PM and don't eat in the evening!. Eat steamed vegetables during supper so that you will eat less meat!.

Always go to bed at the same hour and wake up at the same time every morning, even on weekends!. Don't watch TV in bed or listen to radio!. Don't work on a desk in your bedroom prior to going to bed!. In other words, don't go in your bedroom or lie in bed except for sleep!.

Be patient as regular sleeping hours can take a few weeks to a month to stabilize!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Theres l of things you can do t ohelp you go to sleep!.
-having a glass of warm milk believe it or not can help!.
-listening to relaxing music!.
-reading a book!.
-or there is cd's available with relaxtion techniques and you can download them free online(legally of course)!.
- you can aslo download hypnothapy type things, where you listen to it when you go to sleep and if you listen to it enough it stays in you're mind!.

Also maybe you're over stimulating yourself before you go to bed!.!. watching tv, being on computers, having caffenine or sugar!.!. hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes i have got it had past 2 yr go to docs they will ask you money problems relations ship etc i got anti depressents and eveery other month get tamazipans if you work shifts this can trigger it whatever affecting it try and sort it dont eat before bed use bed for sleep only wht i mean by this is no tv etc dont smoke or drink caffine before bed as theese are stimulants good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I find it difficult to sleep when I have a lot on my mind!. Stress can be a factor!.

Take a warm bath or shower!. Drink Sleepy Time tea or Chamomile tea to help relax!. Read a book or watch a really boring television show!. (Mr!. Roger's Neighborhood and Little House on the Prairie puts me right out)!.

If natural ways to relax fails, see your doctor!. Maybe they can give you some sort of sleep aide medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i dont drink coffee but still i cannot sleep!. and i just cant help thinking at night (just like you)!.!.!.

Insomnia is not falling asleep after one or three hours!. Insomnia is being awake for three or four days at a time!. Read some of what the others have wrote they have some good advice!. If you still feel you need help ask your doctor to sign you up for a sleep clinic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think I might have it!.
I usually don't fall asleep until like 3 hours after I lay down!.

stop the caffeine!.!.!.dont eat after 7 oclock, dont watch tv in bed, make your bed comfortable, have a nice soak in the tub about 30 minutes before going to bed!.!.!.good nite, sleep tightWww@Answer-Health@Com
