Face moisturizer for extrememly dry, sensistive skin?!
Question: Face moisturizer for extrememly dry, sensistive skin!?
Help!. I have very dry and extremely sensitive skin!. I am currently using extra virgin olive oil and vaseline on my face!.
I have tried: cetaphil,aveeno (their products cause my face to peel and hurt) clinique (clogs my pores), loreal, rachel perry, !.!.!.!.!.!.!.
The list goes on!. I used to use Revlon Eterna but I can't find it anymore and it was really heavy anway!.
Is there anything anyone can recommend that works!? Something all natural and easy to find, hopefully!. I am at my wits end!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do not ever use Vaseline on your skin!. It's petroleum and not a good product it dries you out more!. Instead of helping!.

I hear ya!. My skin is very senstitve too, although cetaphil doesn't seem to bother me!. Clinique is awful for sensitive skin (even the sales people have told me that!.) I have used a moisturizer at my dermatologist's office made my Neostrata!. That office actually has a website at: www!.trilliumcreekohio!.com!. Click on the boutique selection on the left and you can browse their stuff!. The Neostrata says it's for oily, sensitive skin but mine is really not that oily!. Just some mild problems with rosacea and adult breakouts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I highly recommend Physician's Choice Super Moisturizing Cream!. It has antioxidants and collagen biofactors, along with grapeseed extract!. (Whatever that means!.!.!. :) !.!.!.!. I just know it feels great!.
When I apply it, it feels cool and sinks into my skin!. I have never purchased it directly, it comes free with certain vitamins!.
Perhaps you should contact someone in your family who may have similar skin, and see what they use!. I'm sure they might have a moisturizer you could try!.

Two suggestions that may help!. You will want to use a skin ointment rather than a cream or lotion!. The other is keep a humidifier by you, particularly near your bed at night!.

Your post looks as though I could have written it myself!. I've tried it all and spent a lot of money doing it!. I have severely dry and flaky skin that is hyper sensitive and is also prone to break outs!. Whenever I found a product that had the level of moisture I needed, it gave me pimples!. But if I found one that would not clog my pores, it did not have enough moisture!. Argg!.!.what a cycle!
My favourite facial moisturizer is a brand made in Germany called Alverde Sensitivcreme Jojoba!. It's made by a company called DM and this is one of their house brand products!. It's incredibly cheap (3!.75 euros for 30mls!.) and I've not found a product like it since!. It's also certified by the Deutscher Allergie-Und Asthmaabund to be of high quality ingredients and completely allergy free!. It's also 100% vegan if that means anything to you!.

The only problem is buying it!. These stores are only in Germany and Austria (as far as I know!.) I go to Germany twice a year and buy loads to due me over until my next visit!. Perhaps you could look on ebay or something!?
