Today, I had a nurse tell me?!

Question: Today, I had a nurse tell me!?
that since I "can't" take my medication, I must be getting better!.
That is not what is happening -- at all!.
I can't take the meds due to sever reactions that sent me to the ER twice in one week, followed by a trip to the doctor!.

This lady can mess me up with my insurance, telling people I'm better since I can't take meds!.

If I can't take meds --- I'm worse off than people who can take meds!.

I'm on long term disability insurance THAT I PAID FOR!.!.!. so don't smart off at me about abusing the system!.!.!.

What I am asking you is!.!.!. how would you handle the confrontation with the nurse about being better or not since meds do not work for me and only leave me sicker!.!.!.

How can I convince her what shape I'm in!?!?!?

I'm considering calling my case worker or my doctor!.
The nurse works for my disability insurance!.!.!.not for my doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You should complain about the nurse being rude to you, to whomever is her senior!. Then you should request never to deal with her again!. The doctors opinion is the only one that really counts!. You shouldn't have to convince the nurse of anything!. Insurance can be a dicey thing, and I think sometimes they try to manipulate things so they don't have to cover procedures and medications- in order to save themselves money!. That may be what is going on here!. Make sure it is in your chart- written by the doctor- what the problem is, and that you cannot take those medications for a real reason!. And then make sure the insurance company has that on their records as well!.!.!.!.!.not that misinformation given by that sassy nurse!. That's what I'd do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is an issue that healthcare providers frequently deal with!. (People not being able to get over their own issues about drug usage when taking care of patients!.)

Make sure to get this taken care of!. Go ahead and call up your caseworker and doctor!.

I see now that you mentioned that this nurse works for the disability insurance!. Guess what her goal is!? She's probably biased and not exactly going to be supporting you in receiving more insurance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

For 1st and most important A nurse is not qualified to say whether you can or cant take your medications It doesnt matt5er who she works for!.I dont see MDWww@Answer-Health@Com

first you need to be seen by your doctor and get a copy of all of your medical records!. second that nurse does work for the disability insurance company and even though she should be a patient advocate the bottom line is her job is protect the company!. so you need to file a complaint so that if it does come back that she is charting to persuade the out come then you are already on record with her remarks ect!. you also need additional documentation to counter her!. remember even though medicine should revolve around the patients, ultimately it is a bussiness and money is the bottom line!. you can not just use words you need documentation and you are entitled to it!. good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
