"Do I have to refrain from having sex with my husband until he gets his medication too!?"

Absolutely!. Otherwise you'll simply get it back again and the treatment you've done will be wasted!.

You're right there's no vaccine!. It's a good idea for your husband to have tests, but he should have treatment regardless!.

Chlamydia can lie undetected in the bodies of both men and women for months or years!. Often the first people know of it is either them or their partner getting a routine test!.

If you've had no partners apart from your husband, and he's had no one else since you were married then he must have been infected before you got married, and he didn't know!. It's actually very common for young men and young women to carry chlamydia without knowing!.

Very occasionally there are false positive and false negative tests, but the safest thing to assume is that you both have it, and you both need to be treated before resuming sexual relations!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your husband needs to get treated too!. If you havent had sex with anyone else then he has it!. Also if you havent cheated!.!.!. he has!. I'm sorry but chlamydia doesnt come from no-where!.

One of you is not telling the truth, either you have cheated or as horrible as it is!.!.!.!. he has!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I got news for ya, you are DEFINITELY wrong on one of those accounts!! It's an STD which means the ONLY way it is transmitted is through sexual intercourse!! Either someone gave it to you and you gave it to him, or vise versa!! Sorry hun, but there is NO other options!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
