Question: How far should I stand away from a smoker!?
I ride the bus everyday, and I don't want to deal with second hand smoke!. Some folks are smoking while they're waiting for the bus, but I don't want to be rude to walk away!. Sometime I try to hold my breath, and turn my head to breath!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry about walking away!. There isn't really a safe distance in my opinion!. The wind can carry and the worst thing is that once it hits your clothes you will smell like smoke too!. And it will stay there until you wash your clothes!. Lots of people get cancer and such from second hand smoke!. I know a friend whos grandma died from second hand smoke before her grandpa died from smoking himself!. Take care of yourself and just walk away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
