Pink-eye or infection?!

Question: Pink-eye or infection!?
I have been wearing this pair of soft contacts for over six months now!. Yeah yeah I know BAD!. But this morning I woke up and my left eye is red and very watery almost like pink eye!. I think it's probably just an infection!. Do I need to get medication or will it clear up on it's own!? Should I be able to go to work tonight (I work in food service)!. Please reply!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Firstly take your contacts out and give your eyes a rest for at least a few days, preferably more!. If your eye is itching, painful, or if you are very sensitive to light at the moment I wouldn't go to work as you may have conjunctivitis, which is infectious!. If this is the case go to the doctors as you will need antibiotics!. If not you could probably go to work but go to see your optician because wearing your contacts for that long is not good for your eyes and the optician will be able to examine your eyes and see if you have done any damage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
