If the doctor was dismissive when you said you had a panic disorder, the definately go see another doctor, you deserve to be treated with respect!.

yep stress can cause asthma attacks, but you have to be allergic to things like dust etc or if you exercise a lot!.

Soar throats are caused by so many things, if you've been inhaling colder air than normal (through your mouth) then that can irritate the back of your throat a lot, if you have the onset of a cold, if you have the onset of a chest infection or if your lungs have decided it needs to get rid of something!.

Either way, a cold would affect you breathing!. With a cold, breathing feels shallower plus, because your body works to kill the virus, you can breathe a lot shallower/quicker which doesnt help!.

my advice A) refuse to see that doctor again clearly she has no idea what she's talking about, B) you may need to wait a few weeks to find out whether it is a cold or not depending on how quickly you pick viruses and things up and c) unless your family has a history of asthma or your allergic/hyper sensitive to pollen, dust etc then you probably dont have asthma!.

If it persists, try echinacea purpurea which is like a immune system support to kill the flu and cold virus quicker (tis great for it im in britain and sweden a lot!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.very cold and rainy all the time so lots of colds) or try and get anti bacterial throat lozenges if they dont work go to the doctors and shout at them if they dont listen/come up with stupid ideas!. or email me, i'll try and find the info!.
