my mom has stage 4 lung cancer (never smoked)!. she was on avastin, which was VERY hard on her body!. she actually had a seizure from magnesium depletion while on this drug!.
there are oral meds like Tarceva, but her oncologist said that's very slow working!.
she's been on 4 different regimens of chemo!. i can't remember what else she's been on, but one of the drugs sounded like olympus!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

For small tumors some undergo a lumpectomy and nothing more!. Some undergo lumpectomy and radiation!. some undergo a mastectomy!. It all depends on family history and health of person!. also size and place of tumor!. are there any involved lymph nodes or has it spread to other body parts or systems!. Chemo is not pushed so hard, it seems , lately!. I refused it myself!.!.!.and am a 14 year survivor!. I do not necessarily recommend doing this but it worked for me!. Also one might pray a lot and laugh a lot and keep up beat people around you at all times! Watch your fave movies and listen to fave music !.!.!.my dogs slept on my bed and I had flowers near by!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I believe that the most frequently used treatments include chemotherapy, radiation, and trying to remove a tumor (if its a tumor!.) Have fun researching it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
