Question: Yes or no to armour thyroid ,or how else can you top up you T3!?
Answers:
I say it totally depends why you are on it!. Armour is not recommended for thyroid cancer patients because of it's "naturalness" it does not supress the TSH consistantly that is needed for cancer supression!. the people I know usually use cytomel with synthroid!.!.!.!.different manufacturers make different fillers for any of the synthetics, and some work better for some, than others!.
also, are you taking the medication consistantly!? with water and no food for at least 1/2 hour to 1 hour on an empty stomach!? with calcium supplements at least 4 hours apart from it!.!.!.!.!.taking it the right way, the same way, gives much better results, no matter what you take!. A new study sites that it should not be taken with hot coffee either!.!.!.!.they are trying to decide if it is hurt by heat or caffine!.!.!.!.!.
Now, if you are vegan, you cannot use Armour, because it is made from pigs thyroids! there are people up in arms about this all the time!. pick what is right for you!.!.!.research your options and your insurance and your doctor's opinion!. good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

never tried armour, but your gp can prescribe liiothyronine which is a long name for t3 and you can take it with your t4!.
Helped me for a while, not sure now tho - although I seem to picked up a fluey bug and feel truly awful (first time out of bed for a couple of days)

I'd say yes to Armour!. I have been on Levoxyl with Cytomel and I am now on Armour!. I have to say the Armour has helped most!. Armour is adjusted by free t4 and free t3, not by TSH!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
