Answers:
Bronchitis isn't really contagious!. Bronchitis is much like pneumonia in that it's caused by a an organism (bacteria or virus) and settles and infects parts of your lungs!. Bronchitis is the result of a cold or other infection 'settling' in you bronchi!. Now, that being said, the germs that cause bronchitis are communicable!. You are probably not contagious anymore because you are on antibiotics and if it's clearing, then you aren't contagious!. So!.!.!. my advice is go see your mother!. IF she is older, in a nursing home or immunocompromised (i!.e!. chemotherapy) you should wear a paper mask when visiting her to prevent the transmission of any remaining pathogens!. Also, keep your hands washed!Www@Answer-Health@Com
probably not - we're usually contagious ("shedding virus") before we even know we are sick - - you don't say if you're on antibiotics!. !. which would make a difference, but unless your mom's really weak and debilitated, you should probably go!. !. you should probably go visit either way - that's just the way moms are!Www@Answer-Health@Com
