What happens during an EEG?!


Question: What happens during an EEG!?
Hey, I am going to go to a neurolologist soon to get an EEG to test me and see if I have epilepsy!. What is an EEG exactly and what do they do to test you!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

They will hook you up with electrodes, some to yuor body and some to your head!. Your doctor may order a sleep deprived EEG, if so, you should be very sleepy!. It will be ok to sleep during the test!. They will put a strobe light in front of your face because this sometimes will trigger seizures (epilepsy) in some people and then you will basicly just lay in a bed while they measure your brain waves!. There is nothing invasive or painful that happens during this test!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
