Question: What are the signs and symptoms of an oncoming death for an elderly or sick person!?
My father has been struck with many problems in the last 6 months!. He first had a heart attack which he quickly recovered from, then two weeks later suffered a sever stroke leaving him paralyzed on the left side!. Around a month after that they discovered he was suffering from a brain seizure of which I dont understand a thing about!. He is admitted to the hospital about once a month ever since!. He always says he is ready to die, but im not sure if that is the case!. Someone told me that when he is ready that he will start to push his family away!.!.!.by attitude changes or something!. Just wondering if anyone knew any other signs or symptoms of passing!.

Im sorry to hear that!. I think every experience is different but Ill tell you mine!. Two years ago my grandfather was diagnosed with cancer and given 8 weeks to live!. He became very remorseful!. He was always apologizing for everything he ever did!. Then he started forgetting things!. He couldnt remember names, even of his children!. Two weeks before he died he didnt have the strength to get up any more!. He laid in bed for a week until one day he got up, had his favorite meal and was acting just like he did before the diagnosis!. My mom had just been told the day before the signs to look for!. Suddenly getting up after laying in bed for a week is called "the death strength" Its the bodys way of preparing itself for dying!. My grandpa died 4 days later!. Thats just my experience but from hospice I know the last few weeks are almost always the same!. Im sorry and I hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Sounds like post surgical or post stroke depression!. Get some professional help with his mental state!. He needs some good counseling to cope with all these diffcult days!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
