Vasconstriction 10 points.?!

Question: Vasconstriction 10 points!.!?
I'm just wondering, is there a homeostatic mechanism of the body that when there is vasoconstriction, the body compensates by bronchodilation, and vice versa!? Much like in metabolic acidosis/alkalosis compensation by the kidney and respiratory system for Arterial blood gases!.

Please expound!. And show your source!.

For example, nicotine is a potent vasoconstrictor, the response of the body is to bronchodilate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
No, you are mixing things up here!.
the bronchodilation is not a response to the vasoconstriction!. the two things are more or less unrelated!.
here it goes!.
The bronchioles and the blood vessels have smooth muscles in their walls!. Smooth muscles can respond to certain chemicals by either relaxing (dilating) or constricting!.
Examples:

Isoproterenol: A drug that acts on beta 1 and 2 adrenoreceptors causes bronchodilation and vasodilation!.

Epinephrine or adrenaline: Dilates the bronchial tree and vasoconstricts!.

Furthermore, some drugs, like many blood pressure drugs like enalapril vasodilate and have no effect on the bronchial tree!.

So, in a nutshell, the two systems are not "homeostatically related" to each other, because there is no physiologic need for them to be, at least not one that i can see!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I believe vasoconstriction also causes bronchoconstriction!. All I could find to cite shows that vasodilation seems to be related to bronchodilation, which basically says the same thing but opposite scenarios!.

Beta Receptor Action: Kidney - increase renin secretion; Heart - increase heart rate, contractility, conduction, excitation; Lung - increase bronchodilation (opens lungs); Blood Vessel - vasodilation (opens vessel)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
