Hi!

Red, itchy bumps are quite common!. What happened is that you just irritated the skin!. When you pull out a hair, it is traumatizing (in a sense) to your skin!. When that occurs, it can lead to redness, bumps, and itchiness!. I don't know what kind of wax you are using, but I'll give you the best advice possible!. First, a hot wax is usually better for the skin because it warms it up, making hair removal easier!. Second, organic waxes have less irritating ingredients, so that can also help!. They also have more oils in them, therefore causing less irritation!. Look for one containing aloe!. Third, you'll want to follow up with a cream that contains either lidocaine, or even some neosporin will do the trick!. Also a solution for razor bumps applied afterwards should help, too!. I do laser hair removal treatments on people and they can see the same kind of effects as waxing!. I give them the same advice and it always helps!. Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you probably have sensitive skin, change the wax you use, you can find wax for sensiive skin in SallysWww@Answer-Health@Com

They make a razor bump cream, not sure if you can use it on your lip though!. Try a cold wash cloth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
