Amoxicillin and saliva went straight to my eye...??!

Question: Amoxicillin and saliva went straight to my eye!.!.!.!?!?

I was giving my dog amoxicillin syrup orally as prescribed by the vet, using a syringe!. While he swallowed most of it he coughed in my face and a drop of syrup went straight to my eye!. Will it get infected!? Is it likely!?

I washed my eye but I doubt that does anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I doubt you have anything to worry about!. And eyewashing does a lot!. Besides, even if dog saliva went into your eye, you just said antibiotic went into your eye as well!. It's antibiotic!. Antibiotic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
