Question: What's the best way to stop coughing fits!?
Whenever i'm sick with a cold i always seem to get these coughing fits at the end of my cold!. And the worst part is that it happens in the middle of the night!. I try to drink water, and have cough drops whenever i can but it just won't work!. I have been having these for years now and i think that there is something wrong with my lungs, i used to have asthma when i was about 4-6 years old and i have never really been able to breathe that well out of my nose or at all actually!. Does that have anything to do with it!?

I Think you still have asthma & I don't think it just goes away!.
My husband uses a nebulizer and has inhaler(Advair)then albuteral inhaler incase of a bad attack!.!.When you go for your next ck!.up ask the doctor!.
